The production site Martorell at a glance

Production of the Audi Q3 began here in the first half of 2011. The compact, sporty SUV is built in ultra-modern facilities at the SEAT plant in Martorell, Spain. The operations are geared up to an annual capacity of more than 100,000 vehicles.

An entirely new body shop and a new assembly line were erected for the Audi Q3 in 2009 and 2010. Total capital investments for the production of the Audi Q3 in Martorell amount to more than EUR 300 million.

Production – expanding the manufacturing network

Martorell is the headquarters of the Volkswagen Group brand SEAT and the decision to build the sophisticated off-roader there has created several hundred jobs. This will serve to expand the Audi manufacturing network allowing for increased capacity while maintaining exceptional quality.
