What is Audi connect®?
Audi connect® Security and Assistance provides in-car driver assistance and security-based services through the use of an embedded SIM, acquiring vehicle diagnostic information and customizing your driving and security settings when needed. Audi connect® provides a journey with heightened enjoyment, an awareness of your vehicle’s speed and status, and optimal safety features.
Audi connect® Navigation and Infotainment services is the link between your Audi and the Internet, giving access to entertainment, information, and search functionality.
The use of Audi connect® services requires that your vehicle be equipped with the Audi connect® option ‘Audi connect® – Assistance and Security Services’ or ‘Audi connect® Navigation and Infotainment’. Additionally, to fully manage and maintain remote services, you must be registered to the myAudi customer portal, or the myAudi app. This allows you to send and manage destinations using Google Maps, as well as download them from your vehicle. You can also manage some remote features from the myAudi portal and myAudi app.
Audi connect® Security and Assistance is available on selected Audi models built in 2017 and later, Audi connect® Navigation and Infotainment is available on selected Audi models built in 2019 and later.
Setting up Audi connect®
To use the full functionality of Audi connect®, your vehicle must first be paired with a myAudi account. This account must then be verified by your local dealer. You can get started at www.audi.ca/myAudi or by downloading the myAudi app.
Audi Smartphone interface brings Apple CarPlay and Android Auto on board. When a mobile phone running on iOS (7.1 or higher) or Android (5.0 Lollipop or higher) is connected to the USB port, smartphone functions such as navigation, phone, music, and selected apps (i.e., Spotify and WhatsApp) are integrated into the in-car MMI® menu.
myAudi is a key component to access certain services and features for Audi connect®. A myAudi account allows you to get the most from your Audi, while enjoying exclusive Audi benefits.
Registration for a myAudi account is free and simple for all Audi owners. Sign up for an account with your vehicle’s identification number and your home address by visiting the myAudi website or downloading the app. Once you sign up, create a username and password for your account, and start enjoying all the benefits of myAudi.
Using Audi connect®
All services have a limited running time. Check with your dealer per individual model.
Satellite radio is transmitted via line-of-sight. Therefore, when the line-of-sight is broken by obstacles such as trees, overpasses or tunnels the connection may be lost temporarily.
This waiting screen will appear during network updates from Google (which typically occur twice a week), when the language has been changed, or when the system has been reset to factory settings.
Error screens stating the above problems are the result of a lost data connection, which is usually caused by poor reception, lack of service, or damaged hardware (i.e. SIM card, vehicle antenna).
1. Make sure you select apply settings after changing the password or it will not be saved.
2. Make sure you use capital letters when you are typing the password into the device you want to connect.
1. Log in to myAudi.
2. Click on "Menu".
3. Select "Audi connect® User Management".
4. Select "Change Pin" tab.
5. Click "Have you forgotten your PIN".
6. Follow steps to Create new PIN.
If you have been locked out of your account, please contact Audi Canada Customer Care 1-800-822-AUDI (2834), Mon-Fri, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., EST (Eastern Standard Time) to reset your password.
1. Ensure your myAudi account has been verified by your local dealer.
2. Select Audi connect® in the vehicle MMI®.
3. Enter the key user vehicle code/F-Pin (the scratch code which accompanies the vehicle keys) and username (e-mail that was used to create MyAudi account).
4. The vehicle code should be all CAPS.
5. Click "Log in."
1. A new vehicle code must be ordered from the dealer, so that you can register for Audi connect® services.
2. These codes are ordered in association with a VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) so the information must be supplied together.
If this message shows up in multiple locations (areas of a good cellular reception) and on different days, please contact your dealer. This error may indicate an issue within the vehicle’s connect system.
> If you were successful in creating an account, check that you received a confirmation email from myAudi the same day you registered.

Audi connect® Navigation and Infotainment services such as Calendar, Online-media streaming, Online/Hybrid radio and Wi-Fi Hotspot¹ require an AT&T data plan.

This e-mail is automatically sent to customers who made a changed to their 4 digit myAudi Secure PIN, or had an MMI® reset performed on their vehicle. If you have received this e-mail, kindly follow the steps below to reset the Key User in your vehicle:
(a) Login to your myAudi account and add your vehicle to your account
(b) Enter your myAudi Username and Vehicle code (this is the 10 digit scratch off code to came with your vehicle) in the MMI® to set the Key User.
