A deductible is the amount of money you, as the policyholder, would pay out of pocket for a covered insurance claim before your insurance company pays. Each coverage will have its own deductible amount.

You should update your policy whenever there is a material change, including (but not limited to) a change of address, an increase or decrease in your commute, starting to use your vehicle for business, or someone else regularly driving your vehicle.
