Audi xenon plus headlights

Electronically controlled gas discharge lamps that use inert xenon gas ignited by high-voltage to increase the brightness of the headlight beam.

Brilliant illumination. Xenon plus headlights provide a higher level of safety during nighttime driving or in bad weather – with the added benefit of low power consumption. The large light arc with qualities similar to daylight has an enormous range. With a wider illumination of the road, drivers can recognize and avoid obstacles sooner. Xenon plus headlights use gas discharge lamps and are electronically controlled. The lamps contain inert xenon gas, which is ignited by a high-voltage. The resulting arc is much brighter than a halogen headlight.
