The all-new 2016 Audi TTS is immediately striking. Unique design details, including aluminum doorsills, quad exhaust pipes and aluminum optic exterior mirrors give the TTS a dramatic sport appearance. The broader Singleframe grille creates a stronger, sportier face with LED headlights that are inspired by the focused eyes of an athlete. Lying in wait under the hood is the culmination of years of motorsport innovation and engineering – a powerful 2.0 litre TFSI engine with 292 hp with 280 lb lift that propels the Audi TTS from 0 to 100 km/h in only 4.9 seconds.
When the first TT entered production in 1999, it immediately acquired the ranking of a design gem in the Bauhaus style – purist, minimalist, timeless. The second TT generation maintained this design code with stronger geometric elements. The third generation echoes many aspects of the classic, but with a more muscular, athletic exterior. It’s truly the pinnacle of what the TT has achieved over its lifetime. Use the slider below to see the progression in TT design.

Full LED headlights produce light at 5,500 Kelvin – that's roughly the same as daylight. Your eyes are less strained and more perceptive to contrast on those dark stretches of road. LED headlights and taillights are standard for the TTS Coupé. Experience the different modes of lighting below.
The engineering and innovation that drives Audi Sport is in the DNA of the all-new TTS Coupé, designed with our top specifications for peak performance. In fact, its name is even a tribute to the motor racing tradition of NSU in the legendary Isle of Man TT (Tourist Trophy) race. The Tradition continues with the TT Cup, where all new, modified TT vehicles will be raced by young drivers from around the world in 18 coveted slots. We’re taking this great tradition of racing into the future — and putting up-and-coming new talent behind the wheel.
The virtual cockpit of the TTS redefines what a cluster instrument should be. It transforms the traditional analog gauges into a completely digital experience with full integration of all driver and vehicle systems. All functions can be controlled with the TTS-exclusive steering wheel or through the MMI system. Find out more in the video below.
Embodying innovation at its best, the brand new, driver-focused Audi virtual cockpit is a fully digital instrument cluster that puts all necessary information directly in front of the driver’s eyes via a high-resolution 12.3-inch LCD screen. To further complement this technology, the unique, multi-function steering wheel allows the driver to operate various functions without ever taking his/her hands off the wheel.
Audi magnetic ride automatically adjusts the firmness of the dampers to suit the current driving situation. The three modes, auto, comfort or dynamic, allow the basic setting to be adjusted individually as desired using the Audi drive select system.
More stability, more traction and more fun thanks to quattro permanent all-wheel drive. Enhanced and optimized specifically for the new TTS, it calculates the ideal distribution of torque in any new situation, putting emphasis on the rear to further underscore the vehicle’s dynamic handling.
With its 292hp, the 2.0 TFSI accelerates the Audi TTS Coupé from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds. The standard S tronic transmission comes with launch control, a feature that provides maximum acceleration from a standstill. Standard Audi drive select system allows drivers to select their preferred driving mode: comfort, auto, dynamic or individual.
