Utilizing input from the steering and speed of the vehicle, adaptive headlights pivot up to 15 degrees to allow the driver to see ahead in the dark by lighting up corners and curves more effectively.
BI-XENON™ headlights produce about twice as much light as comparable halogen headlights and help make night driving, particularly in poor weather, less tiring for the driver's eyes with improved visibility.
The exterior mirrors with automatic dimming recognize glaringly bright headlight beams behind the car and darken the mirror glass automatically. The manual folding feature helps protect the mirrors by collapsing them inward to fit into tight spaces.
Tinted, heat-insulated windows reduce the intensity of sunlight and heat build-up in the vehicle interior. That means more comfort and driving safety, particularly in the summer.

The Audi MMI® Navigation plus features a seven-inch, full-color LCD screen and MMI® control logic. The Audi Q5 comes equipped with the latest generation of MMI®, powered by a 40-gigabyte hard drive and an NVIDIA® chip to enhance graphics. This generation of MMI® offers 3-D topography, including the buildings in many cities. The package includes a color driver information system, real-time traffic, and navigation through audible route guidance and graphics. Also included is the Audi parking system advanced with rearview camera.
Nine speakers, including a center speaker matched with a five-channel DSP amplifier, delivers a total output of 255 watts. In addition, the BOSE® exclusive AudioPilot noise compensation technology adjusts the volume in response to unwanted road noise, creating a richer stereo experience.
Located on the windshield behind the rearview mirror the rain sensor activates the windshield wipers automatically when rain or other moisture appears on the windshield, and adapts the wiper interval to match the amount of rain. The light sensor measure surrounding light conditions and activates the low-beam headlights at dusk when headlight control is set to Auto.
The interior lighting package includes LED footwell lighting in front and rear, illuminated driver and passenger sun visor with normal and magnified mirror and puddle lights with fiber optic technology in all four doors.

S6-specific three-spoke multifunction leather-wrapped steering wheel with aluminum shift paddles, S6 badge and contrasting stitching. A matching gear selector shift knob in the center console is made of leather and aluminum.
The S6 sport seats offer greater lateral support thanks to more prominent side sections. The seat functions include electric lumbar support and electric head restraint covered in Silk Nappa Leather.
Includes theft deterrent light in driver's door; an immobilizer that prevents engine start when key with automatically changing electronic code feature is not used; and backup horn.
Audi side assist system monitors the blind spot areas, as well as fast-approaching vehicles at a range of about 150 ft. to the rear of the car. If Audi side assist identifies another vehicle, it informs the driver via an LED light in the exterior mirror.

This electronic aid keeps the car moving at a constant speed, reducing stress on the driver particularly where speed limits must be observed, when towing a trailer, and on long trips. The system stores and maintains the speed selected by the driver.
Airbags are supplemental restraints only and will not deploy under all accident circumstances. Always use safety belts and seat children only in the rear, using restraint systems appropriate for their size and age.
