LED Headlights with Highbeam Assistance System
Industry-first, full LED headlights in both low and high beam provide a colour temperature of 5,500 Kelvin, a light that resembles daylight, and Highbeam assistance system. This is able to sense oncoming traffic and lower high beams automatically.
Night Vision Assistant
The night vision assistant uses a thermal imaging camera discreetly concealed in the A8’s front grille. It scans the area in front of your vehicle and highlights any pedestrians detected at distances of between approximately 15 and 90 metres. The first alert diplays yellow and changes to red if there is a risk of a collision between the vehicle and the detected pedestrian.

Audi Parking System emits an intermittent warning tone to indicate how far the car is from an obstacle. As the distance decreases, the warning tone becomes faster. It first sounds when the car is a little over 5 feet from the obstacle, becoming continuous when only 8 inches remain. The rear Audi parking system switches on automatically when the vehicle is in reverse. Includes rear camera and optional top view camera.
Rear Seat Entertainment
The backrests of the driver and front passenger seats contain two flat 10.2-inch diagonal displays that can deliver different content. The rear seat entertainment system features headphones and has its own DVD drive, a 20 GB hard disk, two memory card slots and an AMI interface.
