The sports seats offer greater lateral support thanks to more prominent side sections. The seat functions include an electric lumbar support, a memory function for both front seats, electric head restraint and belt height adjustment. As on the Comfort seat with memory function, an upper backrest adjustment function is integrated into the seat back. This makes it possible to angle the top third of the backrest, to provide better support for the shoulders. As a result, the seating position can be better matched to the individual occupant. When adjusting the thigh support, this new system extends the entire front seat surface – on conventional systems only the front section of the seat surface is moved forwards.
