Lane assist with Audi side assistAudi Side AssistActive at speeds over 19 mph, Audi side assist system monitors the blind spot areas, as well as fast-approaching vehicles, at a range of about 150 ft. to the rear of the car.Audi Side Assist
The lane assist system uses a discreet camera mounted at the top of the windshield to monitor the road ahead. The driver is warned with an intentional vibration in the steering wheel if the vehicle is deemed to be exiting its lane unintentionally. The lane assist system is also paired with Audi side assist, which aids the driver in changing lanes. The Audi side assist monitors the 'blind spots,' the areas behind the car not easily visible to the driver. Using radar sensors discreetly located in the rear bumper, it informs the driver with a visual warning signal in the door mirror if there is a vehicle in their blind spot or approaching quickly from behind. The system is easily activated by a button in the driver’s door.
Adaptive cruise controlAdaptive Cruise ControlAdaptive cruise control builds on the functionalities of the cruise control system and, within certain system limits, maintains the driver-selected comfort spacing from the vehicle in front automatically.Adaptive Cruise Control
Adaptive cruise controlCruise ControlThis electronic aid keeps the car moving at a constant speed, reducing stress on the driver particularly where speed limits must be observed, when towing a trailer, and on long trips.Cruise Control offers automatic distance regulation using radar sensors to maintain a required distance by braking and accelerating. Four programs (distance 1 to distance 4) are set by utilizing the steering column controls of the cruise control system. The system also includes Audi braking guard, a system which triggers a visual and acoustic alarm when it detects the risk of a rear-end collision with the vehicle in front.
Adaptive air suspension
Adaptive air suspension is an electronically controlled air suspension with a continuously adaptive damping system for all four wheels, which regulates ride height and damping automatically. The driver has a choice of several modes (automatic, comfort, dynamic) selected via the MMI® system to help determine the level of comfort.
