An option for vehicles utilizing the Self-Locking Centre Differential, the Sports Differential offers even more sporty dynamics. Now, not only can power be distributed from front to rear axle, but it can also be distributed between the rear wheels.

Audi Adaptive Air Suspension −sport
Adaptive air suspension is an electronically controlled air suspension system at all four wheels with a continuously adaptive damping system. It unites sporty handling with a high level of ride comfort. In addition, the air suspension allows for speed-dependent lowering of the body – a change in ride height that results in a low centre of gravity and significantly increased directional stability. The vehicle’s aerodynamics are improved at the same time.
The adaptive air suspension allows the driver to influence the suspension characteristic – and thus the operating dynamics – as individually preferred. The damping characteristics and ride height can be adjusted in a single process via the MMI® "CAR" menu system.

LED Headlights with Highbeam Assist
Industry-first, full LED headlights in both low and high beam provide a colour temperature of 5,500 Kelvin, a light that resembles daylight, and a Highbeam assistance system. This is able to sense oncoming traffic and lower high beams automatically.
Night Vision Assistant
The night vision assistant uses a thermal imaging camera discreetly concealed in the A8’s front grille. It scans the area in front of your vehicle and highlights any pedestrians detected at distances of between approximately 15 and 90 metres. The first alert diplays yellow and changes to red if there is a risk of a collision between the vehicle and the detected pedestrian.

Using the sensors and cameras in the car, an image is created of your vehicle from above, so that you can see all obstacles around you while you park.

The Rear Seat Comfort Package includes a number of thoughtful features designed to enhance you and your passengers’ experience. Those include convenient power reclining rear seats with memory. The rear lumbar support offers enhanced comfort. Four zone climate control ensures an ideal cabin environment. Rear vanity mirrors add convenience. As well, both front and rear seats are ventilated with massage function.
