Power tailgate and split folding rear seats
At the push of a button, the full-size rear hatch opens and closes. Opened, it reveals a cavernous 535-litre (18.89 cu ft) luggage area. With the 60/40 split rear seats folded down, the luggage capacity expands to 1,390 litres (49.09 cu. Ft.). Loading and unloading is easy thanks to a low lift-over height.
New MMI® Touch Navigation System
The MMI® Touch is a giant leap forward. Drivers can enter a destination, name, or phone number, by simply drawing the characters on the pad with their index finger. Touchpad input is possible even while talking or listening to music for more distraction-free operation. Should drivers prefer, they can still use voice control or traditional MMI® controls. The MMI® also allows for integration with a Bluetooth®-enabled phone.

Bi-Xenon Headlights
Bi-xenon headlights use gas-discharge lamps that are electronically controlled. The arc unit contains a gas consisting largely of xenon, an inert gas that is ignited by high voltage. The resulting arc is very bright and serves as an excellent light source to illuminate the road. The spectrum of xenon light is much closer to daylight than conventional halogen, giving it a light blue-white color. Bi-xenon headlights produce about twice as much light as comparable halogen headlights, and make night driving, particularly in poor weather, safer.
