Audi TraditionGran Premio Nuvolari, 2009
From September 18-20, 2009, Audi Tradition’s historic vehicles took part in the Gran Premio Nuvolari race in honour of the legendary racing driver Tazio Nuvolari.
As in the past, the race started and finished in Mantua, Italy, Nuvolari’s birthplace. More than 200 classic cars took part in this tribute to the “Flying Mantuan”, as Nuvolari was also known. Although always closely associated with this event, this was the 12th year that Audi Tradition actively participated.
Classic cars that were entered in the event included the Wanderer W25K, Audi Super 90, NSU Prinz 1000, NSU TT, DKW 3=6 Roadster and DKW Monza.
